How This Sloper Works
  • Quarter Scale Drafting: Yields a 1/4 front block (cut 1 on fold) and a 1/4 back block (cut 2 for zipper insertion).
  • Differential Darting: The back dart is drafted deeper and longer to cup the glute curve, while the front dart is shorter to lay flat over the abdomen.
Drafting Formulas
• Quarter Hip = (Hip + 1" ease) ÷ 4
• Quarter Waist = Waist ÷ 4
• Side Suppression = Quarter Hip - Quarter Waist
